Annual Purdue colleges’ food drive begins – News & Stories


urdue University’s College of Agriculture is partnering with nine other major academic units to collect non-perishable items, cash and online donations for its annual Food Finders Food Bank, INC food drive.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate by April 16 via the links below.

Purdue Agriculture student organizations and clubs are participating by collecting items at their tables during Ag Week events, April 12-16. College of Agriculture students can also donate online at this link. Non-perishable items can be brought to the Agriculture and Administration Building, room 105.

The food drive raised $82,364 for Food Finders last year, resulting in roughly 248,761 meals. Food Finders serves 16 counties, including Tippecanoe County, in North Central Indiana where one in eight people suffer from food insecurity.
