Mission Coffee relocates to The Fort

Mission Coffee beans

Openings & Announcements

After shuttering its Short North coffee shop last year, Mission Coffee Co. has relocated to the mixed-use business community known as The Fort at 2050 S. High St. According to The Fort’s post on Instagram, the coffee roaster is not yet serving coffee at the new location but is using the space as a roasting facility. Bags of beans can be purchased there 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Other tenants at The Fort include Wild Ohio Brewing, The Actors’ Theatre of Columbus and Via Vecchia Winery, among others.

Clintonville’s Kirin Noodle Bar (4227 N. High St.) has reopened as a Japanese eatery specializing in ramen. The Asian eatery had previously shared space with Chatime, a bubble tea chain, and focused on dim sum and noodle dishes. Chatime is now gone, and the owners of Kirin have hired a Japanese chef who ran a Los Angeles ramen shop, Ramenya, for 30 years. In addition to a variety of ramen bowls, the new menu features appetizers such as karaage and kimchi. The spot also carries a selection of Japanese whiskeys. Check out the new menu here
