Noodlez & Rice joins fleet of food trucks at Beulah’s Area 31

BEULAH — A Benzie County chef and entrepreneur is adding Asian flavor to his fleet of food trucks.

Ron Gokey, chef and owner of Wingz & Thingz and Tacoz & Nachos, recently opened Noodlez & Rice which serves out of Area 31 in Beulah with his other two trucks.

“We do Chinese and Korean dishes, as well as Japanese and Taiwanese food,” Gokey said. “We do traditional food like sweet and sour and teriyaki chicken.

Other dishes include Korean ribs, pepper steak, spicy garlic shrimp and true to its name, lo mein noodles. Noodlez & Rice also offers sushi: California rolls and shrimp maki rolls.
